Opera by the Lakes 2025 at Nyerimilang Heritage Park

Gippsland Opera proudly presents its tenth year of Opera By The Lakes at the picturesque Nyerimilang Heritage Park on Sunday, 16 March 2025. This annual celebration of world-class opera brings some of Australia’s most talented singers to the heart of Gippsland for a truly unforgettable performance.

Event Details:

🎤 Featuring Renowned Artists:

  • Teddy Tahu Rhodes – The renowned bass-baritone with a stunning voice, returning for his 6th concert in Bairnsdale.

  • Antoinette Halloran – Star soprano and current lead in Sweeney Todd for Vic Opera.

  • Shanul Sharma – Magnificent tenor performing internationally and now making his 13th concert appearance in Bairnsdale.

  • Dimity Shepherd – Charismatic mezzo-soprano, praised for her limitless vocal tone and emotion.

  • Will Hardy – Star of Boy from Oz and a talented local doctor, singer, dancer, and musician.

🎹 All artists will be accompanied by the incredible David McNicol on the keyboard, ensuring a performance of the highest calibre.
