Basin Creek Falls is a cascade waterfall in the Snowy River National Park. The waterfall is best seen from the base of the fall. A walking trail will take you to the cliff edge, where you will see amazing views of the Snowy River below then head down a little further to the base of the falls.

The signs say that it is a 30 minute return hike but I would definitely allow for a bit longer.

It was well worth it by the time we got down as the there was so much water cascading down.

Located 1 hour and 10 minutes from us at Beachcomber Holiday Units. Drive to Buchan then head along the Buchan-Orbost Road near the locality of Wilsons Cave. Follow Basin Road and turn onto Old Basin Road until you come to a confusing 5-way intersection. The drive finishes at a small car park with signage to a track that will take you to the falls and picnic tables.
