A challenging 5700km across 10 days, recreating the original 1968 London-Sydney Marathon. For the first time in 53 years, where possible, the Perth to Sydney Marathon 2022 rally event will be following the original route from Perth to Sydney. This is a “one-off” event and is the last time that any event will celebrate the 1968 Marathon in the manner and magnitude in Australia.

The Event Committee have the combined knowledge and experience to enable this event to honour and celebrate the origins of the 1968 London-Sydney Marathon.

After a few years of being postponed due to Covid-19. The Perth to Sydney Marathon will be arriving in Lakes Entrance from Wangaratta for one night only. The Rally cars will be on display on the foreshore across the road from us at Beachcomber on Saturday morning between 7am - 8am before they take off for a stopover in Buchan before finishing the day in Cooma.
