IT’S BACK! The Lakes Entrance Lantern Festival is returning on Saturday 25th June to celebrate the winter solstice and our wonderful part of East Gippsland.

A team of volunteers are working hard to ‘Light up the Lake’ and illuminate the night sky with a parade of beautiful hand-made lanterns – many created by local school children.

The afternoon will start at 2pm with local market stalls, great food trucks and live music.

The parade will commence at 6pm and will be lead by the local CFA (assemble from 5:30pm at the Rotunda). If you don’t have a lantern you will be able to purchase one on site prior to the parade.

This is a family friendly, fun and free event! Get our your winter woolies, gather some friends and have a wonderful evening in Lakes Entrance!

Located across the road from us at Beachcomber Holiday Units you will be perfectly positioned to enjoy all the festivities of the Lakes Entrance Lantern Parade.
